Senior Compliance Program Manager

About the Role


We our seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Program Manager to lead regulatory compliance across multiple product lines. This role oversees NSF certifications, EPA-regulated products, EPR reporting, and other global regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the company’s expert for NSF, EPA, and EPR compliance (must-have experience).
  • Manage approximately NSF certifications for our branded products.
  • Maintain the company’s EPR packaging database and manage annual state reporting (CA, OR, CO, etc.)
  • Support compliance for EU exports, including plastics regulations and Prop 65 requirements.
  • Interpret regulatory changes and communicate actionable guidance across the business.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Product Development.
  • Collaborate with external regulatory consultants while functioning as the internal subject-matter expert.
  • Travel up to 15%, as needed

Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or quality engineering within commercial-grade or regulated product environments.
  • Strong expertise with NSF certifications, EPA compliance, and EPR reporting.
  • Project management and PMP certification a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret legislation and convert it into actionable business requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings.
  • Proven “been there, done that” experience — able to operate independently.
  • Detail-oriented, discerning, and strong at influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Background in quality or engineering preferred; plastics experience is a plus.
  • Food or commercial hospitality industry is preferred
