Make an Impact as an Program Manager!
The NewPath Child & Family Solutions Program Manager oversees, manages, and supervises the therapeutic residential milieu, staff, and clients. The Program Manager is responsible for the quality of residential care, the 24/7 operations of the program, and direct oversight of residential treatment supervisors and shift leads, who have direct oversight of the residential treatment technicians. The Program Manager educates employees and models trauma informed care approaches and evidenced based interventions that promote treatment, appropriate levels of care, and therapeutic excellence. The Program Manager will directly oversee and support the Residential Program's direct care staff regarding quality of care, treatment of persons served, safety, and the therapeutic environment.

This is a full-time position located at our NewPath East Campus, working with our Residential Interventions Program.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Provide active support in managing the milieu of the program. This includes being physically present in the milieu while managing problematic behaviors from youth, actively problem solving with fellow staff, facilitating interventions with youth, and modeling for others trauma-responsive behaviors.
  • Actively assist in creating a trauma-responsive environment, including role modeling and educating others regarding trauma-responsive interventions.
  • Works with the Sr. Director of Residential Interventions, other Program Manager, Staff Development Specialists, and Supervisors with hiring, implementing orientation training, maintaining compliance with training for all staff, and collaborating on performance reviews and improvement plans for staff.
  • Effectively fulfills a regulatory role of on-campus manager, monitoring all program routines, youth, staff, and facility while making appropriate adjustments to ensure proper and safe functioning.
  • Ensures oversight of the daily staff scheduling for the program, including ensuring that the program maintains an appropriate staff-to-client ratio, managing call-offs, ensuring 24/7 coverage, and overtime.
  • Provides assistance and support as needed, including backup coverage as a supervisor and direct care staffing coverage as scheduled or needed.
  • Ensure critical incidents and restraint incidents are documented and reviewed per program policy.

What You Bring To The Table
  • Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology, Education, etc.) and have three years' experience in the mental health field.
  • Previous management experience required.
  • Fluency in various intervention modalities, including TCI preferred.
  • Experience with a special population, with mental health diagnoses preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in crisis situation.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have a valid driver's license and good driving record with no more than 5 points and current automobile insurance.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
