This is not a traditional Assistant General Manager role. Our General Managers oversee large-scale operations that may include multiple service locations, complex logistics, significant P&L responsibility, and teams of 100+ employees.

The General Manager Trainee role is designed to prepare high-potential leaders for future General Manager and operational leadership opportunities across our national network.

Responsibilities
  • Learn all aspects of propane operations, logistics, safety, customer service, and business management

  • Support sales growth, operational efficiency, and customer retention initiatives
  • Gain exposure to budgeting, KPIs, workforce leadership, and P&L management
  • Prepare for future General Manager opportunities within the company
Qualifications
  • Willingness to relocate after approximately 12 months in the development program is required
  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Growth-minded, adaptable, and motivated to learn quickly
  • Operational, logistics, transportation, service, or related leadership experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to travel within region as needed
  • Willingness to relocate after approximately 12 months in the development program is required
