Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Learning & Development Specialist partners with the Regional L&D Manager, HR partners, business leaders, and subject matter experts to implement regional learning solutions that build role-based capability and support business priorities.
This role turns identified learning and performance needs into effective regional delivery through facilitation, program coordination, content adaptation, learner support, LMS administration, measurement, and continuous improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Capability-Building and Program Delivery
  • Support regional programs and peer groups that build role-based capability and align with business needs.
  • Facilitate or co-facilitate classroom, virtual, and on-the-job learning experiences using established plans, materials, and standards.
  • Adapt learning materials, facilitator guides, job aids, and learner resources with SMEs using adult learning principles.
  • Create an engaging, inclusive learning environment and summarize learner feedback and recommendations.

Learning Operations and Technology
  • Use the LMS and related learning technologies to create classes, manage enrollments, maintain rosters, track completions, record attendance, and support reporting.
  • Maintain accurate schedules, records, communications, and learner support to ensure consistent execution across the region.
  • Coordinate program logistics including calendars, facilities, virtual links, materials, vendors, and A/V.
  • Track tasks, issues, and risks, escalating concerns as needed to keep programs on track.

Measurement, Improvement, and Partnership
  • Maintain attendance, survey, and program data needed to evaluate participation and delivery effectiveness.
  • Build simple reports, identify trends, and recommend practical improvements to program quality, completion, and learner experience.
  • Maintain organized, current learning assets and support regional communications about learning opportunities and resources.
  • Build effective working relationships with regional stakeholders, learning partners, and SMEs to support capability-building priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience supporting, coordinating, developing, and facilitating training and learning programs in a business environment, including LMS administration, learner support, program logistics, reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience supporting, coordinating, designing, developing, and/or facilitating training in a business environment.
  • Working knowledge of instructional design, adult learning principles, and learning technologies.
  • Strong organization, project management, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills.
  • Experience using an LMS to support scheduling, administration, reporting, and learner support.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel occasionally within the region.
