Job description

The Hardware Design Test Engineer supports production test development and product enablement activities across new product introduction and manufacturing. This role works closely with crossfunctional teams to help implement and maintain test solutions, analyze product performance, and support quality and reliability improvements. The position emphasizes handson learning, datadriven problem solving, and collaboration throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and support of production test methodologies and test software for PV/DV programs
  • Support hardware evaluation activities, including HW/SW integration, basic hardware debug, data collection, and analysis
  • Help define and monitor production test limits using statistical data
  • Participate in field failure and return analysis using test, manufacturing, and customer data
  • Support initiatives to improve product quality, reliability, and manufacturing yield
  • Collaborating with Hardware Design, Software Design, Manufacturing Engineering, and internal/external partners to meet program goals
  • Assist with product performance, reliability analysis, and reporting test results
  • Support systemlevel, modulelevel, and componentlevel troubleshooting and root cause analysis

Basic Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3 8 years of relevant industry experience
  • Foundational knowledge of electrical circuit design and debug concepts
  • Working understanding of analog and digital circuits with exposure to PCBlevel debug
  • Basic data analysis and statistical skills for engineering analysis
  • Familiarity with electronic circuit diagnostics, production test environments, or failure analysis is a plus
  • Exposure to Automated Test Equipment (ATE) is preferred
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
