Job description

We are looking for a talented Occupational Therapist to join our team.

  • In-Person Occupational Therapist

Hourly Rate Range: $45.00-$60.00 per hour

Responsibilities would include:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' motor, sensory, and functional needs.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to integrate therapy strategies into the learning environment.
  • Recommend and implement adaptive equipment and classroom modifications to improve student accessibility.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and IDEA guidelines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Provide training and consultation to teachers and staff on strategies to support student independence.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Illinois OT Licensure (issued by the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation - IDFPR).
  • Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Approval as a Related Service Provider (if required for school-based roles).
  • NBCOT Certification preferred.
  • Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
