The Learning & Development Partner Associate works in close partnership with the Learning & Development Partner (LDP) to identify, design, and implement learning initiatives aligned with IEHP's strategic and operational objectives. This role provides essential analytical, design, and operational support across the learning lifecycle, from needs assessment through implementation and evaluation, to enhance employee capability, performance, and organizational effectiveness. The Learning & Development Partner Associate may independently develop training solutions or collaborate with instructional designers and L&D team members to create scalable, high-quality learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Partnership & Needs Assessment
    • Conduct learning needs assessments in partnership with the Learning & Development Partner to identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
    • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to gather content requirements and align solutions with business priorities.
    • Use data-driven insights to inform learning plans and improve the learner experience.
  • Design & Development
    • Design and develop learning materials, including e-learning modules, microlearning, job aids, learning paths, facilitator guides, and learner resources.
    • Build digital learning content using authoring tools such as Articulate (Rise/Storyline), Canva, Camtasia, Vyond, or similar platforms.
    • Support the creation of scripts, storyboards, knowledge checks, and assessments under guidance from senior team members.
    • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Delivery & Program Support
    • Support facilitation of training sessions, workshops, and pilot programs as needed.
    • Assist with onboarding programs, learning campaigns, and talent development initiatives.
    • Contribute to evaluation efforts by gathering participant feedback and learning effectiveness data.
  • Learning Operations & Technology
    • Manage learning logistics including scheduling, communications, tracking, and LMS administration.
    • Maintain and design SharePoint sites, learning portals, and content catalogs to ensure an organized, user-friendly, and visually cohesive digital environment.
    • Monitor training participation and completion metrics to support reporting and compliance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Build positive relationships with internal stakeholders and act as a learning ambassador across the organization.
    • Support cross-functional collaboration to promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
  • Perform any other duties as required to ensure Health Plan operations and department business needs are successful.
Qualifications

Education & Requirements 

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in training, curriculum development, instructional design, or learning experience development focused on adult learners required
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) or other learning technology platforms
  • Experience working in a consultative support role within Education, Healthcare, IT, Marketing, or related industry preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field from an accredited institution required

Key Qualifications

  • Foundational knowledge of instructional design models and adult learning theory
  • Familiarity with digital authoring tools (Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, Camtasia, Canva, Vyond, etc.
  • Exposure to design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud) or video editing tools preferred
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Analytical mindset with attention to quality and continuous improvement
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies
