Job description

Help Manufacturers Learn, Improve, and Transform
At Factory Advisors, we help manufacturers solve real operational challenges. Our team partners with industrial organizations across North America to improve productivity, develop frontline talent, and accelerate operational performance through practical solutions-not theoretical consulting.
As our digital capabilities continue to grow, we're expanding how we support clients through AI-enabled learning, digital work instructions, microlearning, and connected worker technologies.
We're looking for someone who enjoys bringing people, technology, and manufacturing together. If you enjoy leading projects, improving learning experiences, working with clients, and implementing digital solutions that make a measurable impact, we'd love to meet you.
About the Role
As the Manager - Digital Learning & AI Solutions, you'll help manufacturing clients successfully implement digital learning and workforce enablement solutions.
You'll manage implementation projects, collaborate with manufacturing leaders, help create engaging learning content, and support adoption of Factory Advisors' growing portfolio of AI-enabled tools.
This is a highly collaborative role that works across consulting, software development, instructional design, AI, and client operations. No two projects are exactly alike-which makes the role both challenging and rewarding.
What You'll Do
Lead Client Implementations
• Manage multiple client implementation projects from kickoff through successful adoption.
• Coordinate project schedules, deliverables, risks, and client communications.
• Facilitate discovery sessions to understand operational challenges and identify opportunities for digital learning and workforce improvement.
• Build strong relationships with plant leadership, operations, engineering, HR, and project stakeholders.
• Provide regular project updates and implementation recommendations.
Create Digital Learning Experiences
• Develop engaging digital learning content, microlearning modules, work instructions, job aids, and workforce resources.
• Configure and administer Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate operational knowledge into effective learning experiences.
• Continuously improve learning content based on user feedback and client needs.
Support AI & Digital Solutions
• Help implement Factory Advisors' Approachable AI platform and other AI-enabled workforce solutions.
• Support deployment of digital work instructions, knowledge assistants, skills assessments, and connected worker applications.
• Partner with software developers and technical specialists to configure and launch client solutions.
• Help clients successfully adopt new technologies through practical change management and user support.
Contribute to Our Growing Practice
• Develop reusable templates, implementation guides, and best practices.
• Share ideas that improve how we deliver digital learning and AI solutions.
• Support onboarding and knowledge sharing across the Digital Tools team.
• Stay current on emerging technologies, AI tools, and manufacturing learning trends.
What We're Looking For
We're less concerned with finding someone who checks every box and more interested in someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies, and helping manufacturers succeed.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
• 3-7 years of experience managing projects in manufacturing, industrial technology, software implementation, digital transformation, learning technology, or related industries.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Learning Experience Platforms (LXP), or digital learning technologies.
• Experience developing digital learning content, training materials, work instructions, or instructional resources.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, Information Technology, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience implementing software or technology solutions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Generative AI, or AI-powered productivity tools.
• Experience with digital work instructions or connected worker platforms.
• Familiarity with Articulate Rise, Storyline, Camtasia, Synthesia, or similar content creation tools.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PMP, CAPM, or Scrum certification.
What Success Looks Like
In your first year, you'll:
• Successfully deliver multiple digital learning and AI implementation projects.
• Build trusted relationships with manufacturing clients.
• Develop engaging learning content that improves workforce capability.
• Increase client adoption of Factory Advisors' digital solutions.
• Help expand our growing portfolio of digital learning and AI-enabled services.
• Contribute ideas that make our implementation process even better.
Benefits
Why Factory Advisors?
You'll join a team that's passionate about helping manufacturers improve-not just through strategy, but through execution.
We offer the opportunity to:
• Work alongside experienced manufacturing consultants and industry experts.
• Help shape the future of AI-enabled learning in manufacturing.
• Lead meaningful client projects that deliver measurable results.
• Work in a collaborative environment where your ideas matter.
