Job description

We are looking for a Design Manager across multiple Southern CA locations, including Ventura, LA, San Diego, and Riverside Counties! This professional will be responsible for overseeing the full design life cycle, from initial planning through project close-out and DSA certification. This individual will lead the charge in guiding and coordinating the design process to ensure projects meet all requirements, and monitor progress to keep projects aligned with established schedules, budgets, construction standards, and organizational procedures. This Design Manager will have DSA project experience, ideally having worked on K-14 and/or higher education projects.
Salary Range: $150,000 - 180,000
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10 years of experience in design and/or design management.
  • At least 5 years of the above experience with DSA projects.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management or a closely related field.

Preferred Certifications / Registrations / Qualifications:
  • Experience in the design of large K-14 / higher education projects.
  • Knowledge of DSA requirements.
  • Licensed Architect - Valid and Current Certificate of Registration as an Architect in California
