Job description

About the Role
Arya is looking for a high-performing Deployment Specialist to lead and accelerate our AI product deployments with healthcare customers. This role combines technical acumen, project management mastery, and client-facing excellence. You'll own end-to-end implementation of Arya's AI agents into complex customer environments, integrating deeply with EMRs, HRIS systems, and other critical sources of record. Your work will directly influence how quickly customers realize value from Arya's platform-speed, clarity, and precision are everything.
You will act as the overall project manager during implementation-coordinating work across engineering, product, customer success, and customer stakeholders. From kickoff to go-live, you are the primary driver of outcomes.
What You'll Do
  • Own and lead full-cycle implementations of Arya's AI agents from kickoff through post-go-live stabilization.
  • Coordinate across internal teams (engineering, AI, product, success) and external stakeholders to align on goals and execution.
  • Drive discovery, system scoping, data mapping, integration design, user testing, and rollout plans.
  • Translate customer needs into technical specs, workflows, API mappings, and configuration changes.
  • Track project timelines, tasks, risks, and decisions across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Lead weekly status calls and communicate updates and risks with clarity.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, and operational readiness throughout the implementation lifecycle.

What We're Looking For
  • Experience owning complex software implementations end-to-end-not just the technical, but the cross-functional and customer-facing work too.
  • Comfortable integrating with modern SaaS products, APIs, and enterprise systems (EMRs, HRIS, CRMs, RPA tools).
  • Exceptional project management skills-can lead multiple customer implementations in parallel.
  • Ability to "speak engineering" fluently and partner closely with technical teams to debug and resolve issues.
  • Comfortable presenting to executives and guiding non-technical users through technical workflows.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with a knack for simplifying complexity.
  • High sense of urgency, bias for action, and a desire to ship fast.

Nice to Have
  • Prior experience in healthcare or working with clinical systems.
  • Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, SFTP, RPA frameworks, or ETL tools.
  • Exposure to AI/ML workflows or agent-based platforms.
  • Basic scripting (Python, JavaScript) or data querying (SQL, JSON) experience.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE FIRST 15-30-60 DAYS
By Day 15
  • You're fully onboarded, introduced to all internal stakeholders, and shadowing 1-2 live implementations.
  • You've reviewed Arya's integration architecture, templates, and project management tools.
  • You've started contributing to customer project plans, meeting agendas, and post-call summaries.
  • You've taken ownership of a small set of action items and helped move one project blocker forward.

By Day 30
  • You own the timeline and delivery plan for a live implementation and are the primary point of contact for the customer.
  • You've driven multiple internal coordination efforts (e.g., requirements clarification, engineering handoff, QA planning).
  • You've proactively identified and resolved a risk or dependency.
  • You've documented a new playbook or improved a template to help the next implementation run smoother.

By Day 60
  • You're managing 2-3 customer implementations independently and driving timelines forward with urgency.
  • You've led one go-live, closed the loop with stakeholders, and transitioned ownership to the customer success team.
  • You've influenced internal team process improvements to reduce cycle time.
  • You're viewed as a trusted lead who balances delivery velocity with stakeholder alignment and technical depth.

WHAT WE VALUE
  • Extreme ownership: You take full responsibility for success and never say "not my problem."
  • Speed with clarity: You move quickly but make sure everyone is in the loop.
  • Empathy in action: You listen, translate needs, and act with care for both users and teammates.
  • Technical curiosity: You love learning how systems work and how to make them talk to each other.
  • No ego, just impact: You're in it for the mission, not the credit.

WHAT WE OFFER
  • Competitive compensation + equity
  • Health, vision and dental benefits
  • Generous PTO
  • Mission-driven culture that prioritizes impact and sustainability
  • Wellhub subscription with access to premium fitness facilities, team workouts
