Job description

Our Kids Point Learning Center here at Turning Point Church is seeking to hire a FT substitute teacher to aid both our assistant and lead teachers. The substitute teacher will help to promote positive interactions, plan and organize activities, and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.

Requirements

Some of our preferred requirements are:

  • At least 21 years old or have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous daycare experience in supporting childrenโ€™s growth and development
  • Have a good understanding of DECAL licensing requirements
  • Have a genuinely caring and compassionate attitude when caring for children.
  • Strong communication (oral & written) and listening skills to converse with children, parents, and other personnel.
  • Willing to receive on-going training in compliance with center licensing
  • A faithful believer in Jesus Christ; high moral character and values
