Position Profile

Weaver is looking for a Tax Supervisor with Energy experience to join our growing firm! A Weaver Supervisor provides federal tax compliance and planning services to Weaver’s Energy clients.  

A Weaver Supervisor is a team player who exhibits initiative, accepts responsibility, communicates effectively, and manages multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity. This individual has the opportunity to assist and mentor less experienced teammates.

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA or CPA candidate with 4+ years of public accounting experience, industry experience, or a combination of both
  • Technical expertise in tax planning and execution for Energy clients
  • Experience preparing federal tax returns

    Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:

    • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
    • Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff
    • Strong relationship management and practice development skills
    • Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients
