Position Title:

Trainer (BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy)

Job Description:

Trainer

LOCATION: This position is virtual eligible, and you must be in one of the following locations: Lake Mary, FL; Denver, CO; Las Vegas, NV; St. Louis, MO; Indianapolis, IN.

HOURS: Hours may vary depending based on need. General business hours, Monday through Friday, local time of training recipients.

TRAVEL: Occasional travel to one of the above locations may be required.

Virtual: This role enables associates to workvirtually full-time, except for required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development.

Responsible for facilitating a variety of new hire and performance-based learning events. Training is typically focused primarily on concrete skills related to training on processes and procedures, but may include soft skills content.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Facilitates learning events that are performance-based in nature and across multiple platforms.

  • Delivers synchronous and asynchronous learning events using varied media in virtual and on-site environments.

  • Employs rapid course development methodologies to quickly meet client needs.

  • Exercises classroom management, including learner performance and escalates issues to Learning & Development and client leadership when necessary.

  • Consults and solves learning solutions including: identifies client training needs, successfully uses performance consulting to analyze data and identify root cause to determine appropriate learning solutions, develops service level agreements and meets with clients to obtain approval.

  • Measures, tracks and evaluates learner and client satisfaction.

  • Keeps technical skills updated.

  • Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary for the full length of training and nesting when not virtual.

Required Qualifications

  • Requires BA/BS in related field and a minimum of 2 years of training experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pharmacy technician (Licensed) is highly preferred.

  • Knowledge of front-end pharmacy operations (intake/benefits investigation/prior authorizations/claims) is extremely helpful.

  • Prior training experience is helpful.

  • Outstanding communication skills, very personable, and the ability to present, are a must for this role!
