Job Description
Are you a results-driven business development professional who thrives on building relationships, opening new doors, and creating meaningful partnerships? Do you enjoy consultative selling while helping organizations make a lasting impact in their communities?
We're seeking an Advisor, Corporate Business Development to identify, cultivate, and secure new corporate partnerships that drive revenue and engagement. This role is responsible for growing relationships with mid-sized companies through strategic opportunities including cause marketing, sponsorships, employee engagement initiatives, corporate giving, and executive involvement.
As a key member of the Corporate Development team, you'll leverage your sales expertise, relationship-building skills, and strategic mindset to create partnerships that benefit both corporate partners and our mission.
What You'll Do:
Drive New Corporate Revenue Growth
  • Develop and execute strategies to generate new corporate revenue through the acquisition of new corporate partners and expansion of existing relationships.
  • Build, manage, and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects, with a primary focus on mid-sized companies.
  • Identify, cultivate, and close opportunities including:
    • Cause marketing campaigns
    • Corporate sponsorships
    • Corporate and corporate foundation giving
    • Employee giving and payroll deduction programs
    • Volunteer and employee engagement initiatives
    • Executive and leadership engagement opportunities
  • Consistently achieve or exceed assigned revenue goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Build High-Value Relationships
  • Establish trusted relationships with business leaders and key decision-makers.
  • Deliver consultative partnership solutions that align corporate objectives with organizational priorities.
  • Leverage volunteers, internal stakeholders, and community influencers to identify and secure new partnership opportunities.
  • Utilize research, analytics, and market intelligence to uncover and pursue new business opportunities.

Collaborate Across Teams
  • Partner with Territory teams, Enterprise Sales Leadership, and National Corporate Development teams to align business development strategies and organizational goals.
  • Ensure effective communication of prospect activity, engagement strategies, and pipeline progress.
  • Participate actively in strategy meetings to advance opportunities, accelerate moves management, and maximize partner engagement.
  • Collaborate on forecasting, budgeting, sales planning, and resource allocation.

Lead Successful Partner Onboarding
  • Coordinate the onboarding, activation, and implementation of newly secured corporate partnerships.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless partner experience and successful execution of partnership commitments.
  • Support the transition from new business acquisition to long-term account management while maintaining strong partner relationships.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven consultative sales experience in B2B sales, business development, corporate partnerships, inside sales, digital sales, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated success building and managing sales pipelines while consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong experience developing strategic relationships and influencing decision-makers.
  • Valid driver's license.

This position may be based in Nashville, TN; Kansas City, MO; or St. Louis, MO, and follows a hybrid work schedule aligned with the local Territory Office.
