Job description

Growth Path to Executive Sales Coordinator

New Roots Recruiting | Primarily Remote | Flexible Schedule |

Help Build Something Bigger

At New Roots Recruiting, we're building more than a recruiting agency—we're building a company.

We partner with businesses across healthcare, construction, manufacturing, hospitality, property management, finance, and other growing industries to solve hiring challenges through relationships, strategy, and exceptional service.

We're looking for someone who enjoys research, organization, technology, and uncovering opportunities others miss. If you're naturally curious, love learning new systems, and want the opportunity to grow into a full-time leadership support role, we'd love to meet you.

We hire for potential—not just experience. Skills can be taught. Initiative, integrity, curiosity, and a desire to help build something meaningful are much harder to find.

About the Role

As a Business Development Associate, you'll be the engine behind our sales team.

Your work will ensure our Business Development Associates spend their time building relationships with qualified prospects instead of searching for them. You'll identify companies that are hiring, build prospect lists, organize our CRM, and prepare opportunities for outreach using modern technology and AI tools.

This is the first step in a defined career path that leads to a full-time Executive Sales Coordinator position as New Roots Recruiting continues to grow.

What You'll Do:

Prospect Research

  • Research companies that are actively hiring.
  • Identify hiring managers, directors, executives, and key decision-makers.
  • Build targeted prospect lists using LinkedIn, Indeed, Apollo, company websites, and other research tools.
  • Verify phone numbers, email addresses, and company information.
  • Identify new markets, industries, and business opportunities.

CRM & Sales Support

  • Add and maintain prospect records within Manatal.
  • Keep CRM information accurate, organized, and current.
  • Assign qualified opportunities to the appropriate Business Development Associate.
  • Track sales activity and maintain organized pipelines.
  • Help ensure no qualified opportunity falls through the cracks.

Outreach Preparation

  • Send LinkedIn connection requests using our proven messaging process.
  • Utilize AI tools to personalize outreach while maintaining the New Roots brand.
  • Prepare prospects for email campaigns and future follow-up.
  • Organize prospect information for our Business Development team.

Business Operations

  • Assist with sales reporting and activity tracking.
  • Support lead generation campaigns.
  • Help improve prospecting systems and workflows.
  • Learn and utilize AI and automation tools to improve efficiency.
  • Assist with additional business development projects as the company grows.

Growth Path

We're hiring for where we are today—but investing in where we're going tomorrow.

August

Business Development Associate

  • Approximately 10–15 flexible hours per week
  • Learn our systems, technology, and sales process
  • Master prospect research, CRM management, AI tools, and lead generation
  • Build qualified prospect pipelines for our Business Development team

September

As you grow, you'll begin taking ownership of:

  • CRM administration
  • Sales reporting
  • Proposal preparation
  • Contract coordination
  • Client onboarding support
  • Sales workflow improvements
  • Marketing and outreach coordination
  • Supporting Business Development Associates throughout the sales process

October

Executive Sales Coordinator (Full-Time Goal)

As New Roots Recruiting continues to grow, our goal is to transition this position into a full-time Executive Sales Coordinator role.

In this position, you'll become the operational partner to our Business Development team by managing:

  • CRM administration and data integrity
  • Proposal and contract coordination
  • Client onboarding
  • Sales reporting and KPI tracking
  • Marketing campaign coordination
  • Executive scheduling
  • Business Development support
  • Sales systems and workflow optimization
  • AI and automation processes that improve efficiency

Compensation Evolution

As you transition into the Executive Sales Coordinator role, your compensation will evolve to include:

  • Competitive base salary
  • Performance bonuses
  • Long-term career growth opportunities
  • Leadership development as the company expands

Work Environment

This is a primarily remote position with a flexible schedule.

We meet at least once each week in Rockwall, Texas for strategy lunches, collaboration, training, planning, and team development. These meetings are an important part of our culture and provide an opportunity to share ideas, celebrate wins, solve challenges, and stay connected as a team.

If you enjoy the flexibility of remote work while still valuing in-person collaboration, you'll fit right in.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

  • Loves research and uncovering opportunities.
  • Is highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Learns technology quickly and enjoys using AI to work smarter.
  • Communicates professionally and confidently.
  • Is resourceful, dependable, and proactive.
  • Can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Wants to grow with a company instead of simply filling a role.
  • Gets excited about building systems and helping a business scale.

Recruiting or sales experience isn't required. We'll teach you our process. We're looking for someone with the right mindset, strong organizational skills, and the desire to build a long-term career.

Why Join New Roots?

  • Flexible schedule designed around results
  • Primarily remote work with weekly strategy lunches in Rockwall
  • Learn cutting-edge AI, CRM, recruiting, and business development technology

  • Work directly with a fast-growing leadership team
  • Make a meaningful impact in a company where your ideas are valued
  • Help build something from the ground up

Benefits:

  • Flexible schedule
  • Work from home
