The Opportunity

We are currently seeking to hire a Senior Consultant, Learning & Development. This role is based in our Chicago, US office as part of the Agoda People Development & Performance (PDP) team. We are a team of professionals who scale capability development from the individual employee to organizational level, provide systems and data-driven insights to measure, refine and help Agoda achieve its business goals by keeping out talent upskilled and engaged.

The objective of this role is to support organizational capability-building initiatives by assisting in the design, development, and implementation of impactful learning solutions. As a Senior Consultant, you will collaborate with team members of the PDP team, business stakeholders, Agoda & Booking Holdings Brand companies leadership to support learning programs, analyze learning needs, and ensure effective execution of development initiatives. This role will allow you to gain exposure to business challenges while contributing to the growth of employees and teams through structured learning solutions.

In This Role, You'll Get To

  • Lead and support management of global learning projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met for the business you are aligned to.
  • Assist in the design, development, and execution of learning programs that align with Agoda's business and cultural objectives
  • Support stakeholders and learning team in delivering solutions that enhance employee performance and engagement.
  • Experience with change management & enablement learning strategies will be an added advantage.
  • Build relationships across group companies to leverage existing learning content to adapt it to the organizational requirements.
  • Use data to track and measure the impact of learning programs and generate insights to improve learning effectiveness.
  • Conduct research and support the identification of learning trends, employee sentiment, and capability gaps
  • Assist in facilitating learning sessions, workshops, and development initiatives for employees at various levels.
  • Work closely with internal teams to leverage subject-matter expertise and internal resources to enhance learning experiences.
  • Stay informed about best practices in learning and development to bring innovative approaches to the team.

 What You'll Need to Succeed

  • 8+ years of experience in a business consulting/learning and development or organizational development role at a multi-national organization.
  • Undergraduate degree expected, advanced degrees welcome.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate training and workshops.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track, measure, and report on learning program effectiveness & to work with data to identify patterns and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience in designing and delivering learning programs across different employee demographics and an understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies is a plus.
  • Ownership and growth mindset and ability to meet tight deadlines with a logical, methodical approach to prioritizing tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to effectively handle ambiguity and adapt in a constantly changing multi-cultural business environment
  • Flexibility in working across time zones
  • Display of humility, flexibility, & curiosity is paramount.

**This role is Based in Chicago, US**

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible to be considered for an annual bonus.

The range for Chicago-metro area is  $110,000-137,000.
