As a Med Tech, you will enrich lives every day by relying on your experience and knowledge of medication administration procedures to ensure that residents in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods receive the highest level of dignity and care. The ideal candidate will:
  • Have a commitment to Touchmark's values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Have at least one year of Med Tech experience
  • Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
  • Provide assistance and emotional support to residents using the Best Friend's Approach to dementia care
  • Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality
  • Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
