Basic Function:
The A&P Technician performs maintenance, inspection, repair, and overhaul of aircraft and related systems in compliance with FAA regulations and Part 145 Repair Station standards. This role ensures airworthiness, operational integrity, and regulatory alignment through expert application of Airframe and Powerplant certification skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on airframe and powerplant components in accordance with FAA Part 145 regulations

Inspect aircraft systems and components to determine serviceability and compliance with manufacturer and regulatory standards

Ensure proper documentation of all work performed, including maintenance logs, discrepancies, corrective actions, and parts usage

Interpret technical publications such as maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives

Use approved tools and equipment to conduct repairs with precision, safety, and adherence to quality standards

Collaborate with inspectors and engineers during Return-to-Service processes and quality checks

Maintain familiarity with safety procedures and hazardous material handling requirements

Support inventory management by identifying needed parts, documenting usage, and reporting shortages

Participate in recurrent training and certification updates to remain compliant and informed on current standards

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, compliance, and safety culture across the repair station

Requirements

Required Qualifications

A&P Certification

Minimum 3+ years' experience with any or all Citation Jet aircraft

Ability to maintain compliance in an FAA drug program

Able to work occasional nights and weekends if needed

Must be a self-motivated, goal-driven employee

General Aviation Experience, including reciprocal aircraft knowledge
