Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the NAO Tech Center locations HSE activity to ensure work practices are in place
  • Manage and lead the administration of the Machine Safety compliance programs
  • Execute the Division HSE Machine Safety Program and coordinate with Plant HSE and Program Managers for successful completion of Program elements
  • Maintain current level of knowledge on applicable government, industry, and corporate guidelines
  • Serve as Certified Machine Safety Expert (CMSE) and maintain appropriate certifications
  • Review and validate machinery safety specifications and equipment with program team engineers, suppliers and plants to ensure safe new equipment process and lessons learned are integrated from prior events
  • Support the various functions in the successful completion of new and revised program launches
  • Lead and/or participate in plant machinery audits and inspections and follow up on recommendations with the plants through review of facility incident report, recordkeeping, and treatment files; machinery specifications programs; environmental legal & other requirements in support of the HSE Management System
  • Monitor and support plants in the reporting of HSE indicators (OSHA Injury/illness rates, Company frequency rate metrics, periodic environmental data, training etc.)
  • Support the leadership and commitment from top management according to the NAO HSE management systems
  • Propose continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reduction
  • Capitalizes on knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across organization and within the site

Your profile and competencies to succeedMinimum education level
  • Bachelors Degree required. Master\'s degree or higher (Bac+5) with a specialization in HSE and / or a significant experience of HSE cluster manager or plant or operations or quality cluster director in a multi-site industrial environment internal or external preferred.
Professional Experience:
  • Knowledge of the tools and methodologies HSE necessary to evaluate and prevent the security and environmental risks and impacts: risk analysis, data collection, problem solving, etc.,
  • Knowledge of the international regulation (LEX) and specific standards to the perimeter of his/her activity.
