Director, Talent & Organizational Development

We’re looking for a Director, Talent&Organizational Development to shape how Benefit attracts, grows, engages, and mobilizes talent across our global organization. This role brings together talent acquisition, talent development, learning and development, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, leadership capability, and performance enablement into one integrated talent and organizational development function designed to help our people and our business thrive.

Reporting to the Vice President, Global People Strategy&Programs, the Director serves as a trusted advisor, builder, coach, and connector across HR and the business. This leader translates business priorities into practical talent strategies, modern development experiences, and organizational solutions that strengthen capability, fuel growth, and reflect Benefit’s bold, playful, people-first Brand DNA.

Job responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead integrated talent and organizational development strategies that support business priorities, future workforce needs, and long-term growth.
  • Oversee talent acquisition strategies, workforce planning, candidate experience, and employer brand initiatives that attract exceptional talent.
  • Lead talent reviews, succession planning, development planning, leadership pipeline planning, and high-potential acceleration.
  • Build modern learning and leadership development programs that strengthen manager effectiveness, capability, culture, and performance.
  • Partner with leaders to diagnose organizational opportunities and improve team effectiveness, role clarity, operating models, and ways of working.
  • Use recruiting, talent, learning, engagement, workforce, and organizational data to generate insights, measure impact, and guide decisions.
  • Lead and develop team members responsible for talent acquisition, talent development, learning and development, organizational development, and related talent programs.
Profile

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience across talent acquisition, talent management, organizational development, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, learning and development, HR strategy, or related disciplines.
  • 7+ years ofpeopleleadership experience, including coaching, development, performance management, and leading teams through change.
  • Demonstrated experience leading talent acquisition strategy, workforce planning, succession planning, talent reviews, leadership development, learning programs, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Proven ability to design enterprise-wide frameworks, programs, tools, and processes that are scalable, practical, inclusive, and aligned to business priorities.
  • Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Additional information

Schedule:

  • Onsite presence required at Benefit HQ 3x per week

The target salary range for this position is $150,000-$220,000 annually. The actual salary offered is based on market location and will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus. This position is also eligible for the following benefits, including but not limited to:
