  • Build trusted relationships with prospective clients, business leaders, and community partners
  • Apply consultative discovery techniques to understand organizational needs, challenges, and decision-making structures
  • Support Consultants by sourcing qualified prospects and ensuring a strong, consistent pipeline

Operational & Compliance Excellence
  • Maintain accurate documentation of prospect activity, pipeline status, and market insights
  • Ensure all prospecting, outreach, and event activities align with organizational policies and professional standards
  • Uphold confidentiality, ethical behavior, and brand professionalism in all interactions

Growth & Retention
  • Identify, cultivate, and qualify new prospects through referrals, targeted outreach, digital engagement, networking, and events
  • Maintain a disciplined new-business pipeline that supports quarterly and annual sales objectives
  • Represent Alera Group at industry events, community gatherings, chamber activities, and professional networking functions
  • Support planning and execution of local thought-leadership events, client seminars, and market activations
  • Partner with Marketing to ensure events align with brand standards, messaging, and strategic goals
  • Capture and share market feedback, attendee insights, and follow-up opportunities to support continuous improvement
  • Stay informed on employee benefits products, regulatory updates, underwriting trends, and market shifts to support meaningful prospect conversations

QUALIFICATIONS
What You Bring
Required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ability to obtain Life & Health insurance license within 90 days of hire
  • Experience in B2B sales, business development, or relationship-driven roles
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage executives and decision-makers
  • High business acumen, adaptability, and comfort working in a growth-focused environment
