Summary of Position
Cedar & Sage Companies is a real estate development and construction firm based in Eagle, Idaho, specializing in single-family, townhome, and apartment projects throughout Idaho, Washington, and Montana. We operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that offers flexibility, new challenges, and ample opportunities for growth.
We are seeking a Development Manager to join our team—someone who is a motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and a strong understanding of real estate development processes. The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree, with experience in real estate development, construction, or engineering being a plus.
This position is primarily office-based in Eagle, Idaho, with some flexibility for remote work. Occasional travel to project sites is required.
Key Responsibilities
●    Develop conceptual bids and budgets for project feasibility and proformas.
●    Conduct land use and zoning research, market analysis, and project feasibility assessments.
●    Coordinate and manage contracts with architects, engineers, designers, attorneys, and brokers to ensure                 project success.
●    Oversee the entitlement and permitting process, ensuring timely agency approvals.
●    Facilitate the completion of construction drawings for both horizontal and vertical development.
●    Secure bids for horizontal construction and track budgets and schedules through completion.
●    Address and resolve issues arising during horizontal construction to maintain progress.
●    Manage the creation of CC&Rs, HOA documents, and property management contracts.
●    Oversee survey and engineering teams for final plat preparation and recording.
●    Ensure smooth handoff from development to the construction team, supporting project execution.
Compensation & Benefits
●    Salary: $102,000 – $120,000 per year DOE
●    Benefits: Health insurance, 401(k) with a match, PTO
