Compensation
At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $116534 - $154413.38. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C's annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.

Are you passionate about Training & Development? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to coordinate our Talent Enablement function. The Leadership Development Lead is critical to advancing S&C's leadership development strategy and portfolio by utilizing needs assessments, organizational insights, employee feedback, and leadership development best practices to design and deliver programs, experiences, and resources that strengthen leadership capabilities across the business. They collaborate closely with senior executive teams and cross-functional teams to identify leadership gaps and create tailored development plans. Through expertise, the Leadership Development Lead will lead the evaluation and enhancement of existing programs to ensure they remain current and impactful and will contribute to building a solid leadership pipeline within the company that fosters a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy Deployment: Partner with the leaders in Talent Enablement and the broader business to meaningfully influence leadership development strategies in line with S&C's overall business goals and objectives. Develop company-wide, short- and long-term leadership development strategies, programs, and experiences that strengthen the leadership pipeline.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the leadership development budget, ensuring accuracy and appropriate allocation of resources to maximize organizational impact and support business and talent development objectives.
  • Leadership Development Portfolio Ownership: Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of S&C's leadership development portfolio, including leadership programs, coaching, assessments, mentoring, team development, and other leadership learning experiences. Conduct organizational and leadership needs analyses to identify development opportunities and design scalable solutions that address leadership capability gaps across all levels of the business. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify high-potential talent and support leadership pipeline development. Ensure program aligns with S&C's leadership expectations, culture, and business priorities while delivering measurable impact.
  • Learning Technology & ResourceManagement: Manage and optimize leadership development technologies, systems, and learning platforms to support program delivery, participant engagement, reporting, and scalability. Leverage learning technologies and tools to enhance leadership development experiences, including coaching platforms, mentoring systems, and assessment solutions such as MentorCity and Cloverleaf. Oversee internal coaching resources, including training and support for 360-degree assessment coaches, and evaluate coaching effectiveness to ensure high-quality development experiences.
  • Vendor & External Partnership Management: Source, assess, and manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and providers to deploy the Leadership Coaching Program and support leadership development initiatives. Establish strong relationships with external vendors and industry experts to leverage additional resources for leadership initiatives. Manage vendor relationships and monitor service delivery to maintain successful partnerships and service standards, including MentorCity, Zenger Folkman 360, Hogan, and other suppliers.
  • Leadership Program Facilitation: Enable the successful delivery of leadership development programs by establishing facilitation standards, preparing facilitators, and ensuring consistent participant experience. Develop engaging learning content and resources that build leadership capabilities and support organizational growth.
  • Program Evaluation & Reporting: Establish and maintain metrics to evaluate the effectiveness, adoption, and business impact of leadership development initiatives across the organization. Collect and analyze participant feedback, assessment data, and business outcomes to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Prepare and communicate regular reports, insights, and recommendations to HR leadership and other stakeholders to demonstrate program value and inform future strategy.
  • Communication Strategies: Develop and execute communication strategies that drive awareness, participation, and adoption of leadership development programs and resources. Partner with HR, business leaders, and key stakeholders to promote leadership initiatives, communicate program outcomes, and ensure visibility of development opportunities throughout the organization.
  • Industry Insights & Thought Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in leadership development best practices and provide recommendations for long-term insights by monitoring emerging trends, innovations within leadership, talent development, coaching, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.

What you'll Need To Succeed:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Adult Education or equivalent experience
  • Coaching certification or equivalent leadership advisory experience
  • 7+ years of experience in leadership development, leadership pipeline management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, enterprise-wide leadership development initiatives from needs assessment through design, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, establish priorities, develop project plans, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver results within established timelines and budgets.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and owning leadership development programs, frameworks, and learning experiences that support leadership capability development across multiple levels of an organization.
  • Proven ability to influence and build credibility with senior leaders, executives, and key stakeholders across the organization to gain alignment, secure buy-in, and drive adoption of leadership development initiatives.
  • Experience consulting with business leaders to assess organizational needs, identify leadership capability gaps, and develop solutions aligned with business objectives and talent strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and drive organizational adoption of learning and leadership development programs in complex environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate competing priorities, manage expectations, and build collaborative partnerships across functions, business units, and leadership levels.
  • Experience developing, measuring, and reporting leadership development metrics, program effectiveness, and organizational impact to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Proven success partnering across HR teams, creating effective partnerships at all levels and collaborating at an operational level
  • Demonstrated experience managing supplier and vendor relationships to deliver on learning and development goals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred:
  • Certification by the International Coaching Federation e.g., Associate Certified Coach (ACC), Professional Certified Coach (PCC) or Master Certified Coach (MCC)
  • Zenger Folkman 360 Assessment Certification
  • Hogan Certification
