Overview:

Lincoln Leadership Academy Charter School is tentatively seeking creative and dedicated Middle School Teachers to join our vibrant educational community (2026-2027 school year). This role involves nurturing young minds in a dynamic classroom environment, fostering academic and social growth through a diverse and comprehensive curriculum. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and committed to the development of each student

Key Responsibilities:Curriculum Development and Instruction:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet state and educational standards across various subjects including math, science, social studies, and language arts
  • Utilize innovative teaching methods and instructional technology to enhance student learning and engagement
  • Classroom Management:
  • Create a nurturing, respectful, and safe classroom environment that promotes learning and encourages positive social interactions among students
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain student discipline and facilitate a productive classroom environment
  • Assessment and Evaluation:
  • Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt instruction to meet the needs of each student
  • Provide feedback to students in a constructive manner and work actively to support their academic improvement
  • Parental Communication:
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, potential concerns, and achievements
  • Encourage parental involvement in studentsโ€™ education and ensure transparency about the educational process
  • Professional Development:
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational research and pedagogy
  • Participate in schoolwide training programs and workshops to enhance teaching skills
