The Opportunity:


The Leadership Academy Program Coordinator is a vital hybrid operational role designed for a systems-oriented individual looking to cultivate the next generation of racial equity leaders. You will manage the logistical backbone of our Academy initiatives & programsโ€”including Casa Joaquin Murrieta, Fellowship and Summer Associate tracksโ€”ensuring that every stage of the participant lifecycle, from initial recruitment to alumni advocacy, is executed with precision. By owning the data integrity and more of our networks and co-facilitating in-person program sessions, you directly enable the Academy to scale its impact and empower diverse leaders to drive systemic change.


Program Responsibilities:

Program Recruitment
  • ๏ปฟExecutes outreach and recruitment cycles to attract diverse applicant pools. This includes managing job board distributions, coordinating informational webinars, in conjunction with HR serves as a primary point of contact for candidate inquiries.

  • In-person facilitation for outreach and recruitment activities included, but was not limited to, tabling on campus, job fairs, and conference tabling.

  • ๏ปฟ๏ปฟ๏ปฟPost job announcements to target universities, partner organizations, listservs, job portals etc.

  • ๏ปฟ๏ปฟ๏ปฟTracks applicant submissions in the applicant tracking system

  • ๏ปฟ๏ปฟ๏ปฟManages nomination submission portal and develops a tracking mechanism to monitor nominees' progress through program application cycle

  • ๏ปฟ๏ปฟ๏ปฟCollaborated with the communications team on outreach efforts and coordinates related internal processes to advance the work

  • ๏ปฟ๏ปฟ๏ปฟSupports the application tracking, review, and score analysis process for all Academy programs

Academy Programs Support
  • Support facilitation of all Academy Programs in person: Fellowship, Summer Associates, Casa Joaquin Murrieta, and GAAA

  • Administrative support across all Academy Programs: Purchasing, Invoices, Divvy, etc.

  • ๏ปฟ๏ปฟ๏ปฟContributes research and process improvements to the Academyโ€™s operations and assists in the practical integration of racial equity frameworks within the curriculum.

  • ๏ปฟ๏ปฟ๏ปฟActs as liaison to manage communication and coordination with guest speakers for program workshops and events

  • ๏ปฟ๏ปฟ๏ปฟManages program master calendar and updates master workshop calendar as programming is developed and scheduled

  • ๏ปฟ๏ปฟ๏ปฟAssists in drafting, editing and writing, of external reports, and communications across organization

  • Maintains systematic records of participant demographics and program outcomes to produce data sets required for grant reporting and funding compliance.

Alumni Engagement
  • Coordinate and support all Academy events: Location scouting, vendor management, marketing and promotions, outreach to guests, and day-of in-person event support etc.

  • Supports database development to collect accurate roster of all program current participants and alumni

  • ๏ปฟ๏ปฟ๏ปฟDevelops tracking system to identify and manage missing contact information for program alumni

  • Performs regular alumni audits using social platforms and direct outreach to maintain a high-integrity database of contact information and professional milestones.

  • ๏ปฟ๏ปฟ๏ปฟAssumes a professional and friendly demeanor when engaging with alumni in all capacities

Program and Team Engagement

  • Mentor a participant in the Casa Joaquin Murrieta Residential Program

  • Occasionally attends workshops, events and Academy activities

  • Assumes interim responsibility for our residential Casa program operations in the absence of Program Management to ensure continuity of service and safety.

  • ๏ปฟ๏ปฟ๏ปฟParticipates in related program, organization and community meetings as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • 1 years of related experience

  • HS Diploma or GED, Bachelorโ€™s Degree Preferred. (Applicants are not required to disclose their educational institutions during recruitment, but to be verified post offer acceptance).

SALARY: The salary range for this position is $62,275 - $71,571. Based on relevant experience and qualifications new hires can reasonably expect an offer within this range.
