Job description

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university in Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering, Industrial Arts, Industrial Technology, Construction, Agribusiness, or other majors related to these fields.
2. Previous management experience is preferred.
3. Experience in facilities maintenance, construction, building operations, facility inspections, safety compliance, or risk management, preferred.
4. Working knowledge of building systems, preventative maintenance practices, safety regulations, building codes, and fire marshal requirements applicable to school facilities. preferred.




REPORTS TO: General Manager of Maintenance


SUPERVISES:
Assistant Maintenance Manager
Foreman and Leaderman of All Trades
Dispatcher
Office Staff





JOB GOAL: To assist the General Manager of Maintenance in directing and overseeing maintenance operations, capital improvement projects, preventative maintenance programs, and facility upkeep throughout the district while supporting districtwide facility risk management initiatives designed to ensure safe, compliant, and well-maintained campuses and facilities.


TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 Month The number of days as required by the currently adopted IPSB calendar.


EVALUATION: Performance in this position will be evaluated at least once annually in accordance with Board Policy.


COMPENSATION: 12 Month Specialist Salary Schedule
