As a Market Leader, you will have full accountability for the financial performance, operational excellence, employee engagement, safety culture, and customer satisfaction of your market. You will partner closely with District Leadership and functional support teams while developing a culture where people thrive and clients become lifelong advocates.

What You'll DoLead the Business
  • Own the overall performance of the market, including revenue growth, profitability, productivity, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and execute annual business plans to achieve sales, margin, EBITDA, and customer retention goals.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance to identify opportunities and implement action plans that improve results.
  • Ensure resources, staffing, and equipment are aligned to support current demand and future growth.
Drive Sales and Market Growth
  • Lead and coach Residential and Commercial Sales Arborists to consistently achieve sales and profitability goals.
  • Build a culture focused on client relationships, consultative selling, and exceptional service.
  • Partner with the sales team to identify new business opportunities, expand existing client relationships, and grow all service lines including Tree Care, Plant Health Care, Lawn Care, and Commercial Services.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to position SavATree for continued growth.
Lead Operations
  • Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and with the highest quality standards.
  • Drive operational performance by improving scheduling, routing, equipment utilization, productivity, and service delivery.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and environmental standards.
  • Oversee fleet management, facilities, inventory, and branch assets.
Build Great Teams
  • Recruit, hire, develop, coach, and retain exceptional talent across sales, operations, and administration.
  • Create an engaging, accountable, and high performing culture that reflects SavATree's values.
  • Conduct regular performance coaching, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to proactively build talent pipelines that support future growth.
Deliver an Exceptional Client Experience
  • Champion a customer first culture focused on creating lifelong client relationships.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction metrics, including Net Promoter Score, and implement improvements that enhance the client experience.
  • Resolve complex customer concerns while protecting long term relationships and company reputation.
Champion Safety
  • Foster a culture where safety is a core value and personal responsibility.
  • Ensure all team members are trained, equipped, and accountable for safe work practices.
  • Lead by example through active participation in safety meetings, field visits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Forestry, Arboriculture, Environmental Sciences, or related field, or equivalent leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading a branch, district, or multi functional business with full P&L accountability.
  • Proven experience leading sales and operations teams in a service based organization.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and business performance metrics.
  • Experience coaching, developing, and retaining high performing teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to analyze business data and make informed operational decisions.
  • ISA Certified Arborist credential preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Tree Care, Landscape, Green Industry, Home Services, or similar operational leadership experience strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements

This position includes both office and field responsibilities. Candidates should be able to safely navigate outdoor job sites and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
