Job description

Are you the life of the party and kids just seem to naturally gravitate toward you? Do you have a blast teaching and just being with toddlers? Then this is the opportunity for you to make a positive impact on the kids in our community through imaginative learning and physical activity.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic coach to lead our "Soccer Parent & Me" classes designed for toddlers (ages 18 months to 3 years) and their parents. This fun and engaging program introduces the fundamentals of soccer through age-appropriate games and activities, encouraging motor skill development, socialization, and bonding between parents and children. Our ideal candidate has prior experience working with children (as a teacher, nanny, daycare, youth leader, or camp leader), and genuinely loves children. We offer training on the job, a flexible schedule, and incentive programs.
Our coaches...
  • can work up to 20 hours a week and can earn very competitive pay ranging from $25 per hour up to $30 per hour

About the Company: Youth Athletes United was created to provide the best programming and service in the market for youth sports, starting with their first sports experience. Our goal is to provide an experience where every child is an athlete and capable of being something special. Our History: Super Soccer Stars has been in the youth soccer business for over 22 years and has been recognized as the largest operating program in the US.
Requirements
Age Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old
Educational Requirements: High school diploma with some college (preferred)
Transportation: You must hold a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation as you could find yourself working at multiple locations in a day.
Schedule: The ideal candidate would be available most Monday-Saturday mornings and/or afternoons.
Location: Classes are held at schools, daycares, pre-schools, parks, and recreational centers across Dallas County. Depending on the location of the coach's primary residence they may be required to travel up to an hour to get to a class location.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to run, bend, lift, and engage in physical activity with toddlers for extended periods
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

Required soft skills and professional skills:
    • You bring lots of energy and a personality that kids just love to be around
    • Being physically active, punctual, and organized is part of life
    • Ability to work with kids ranging from 18 months to 12 years old independently
    • Demonstrates a history of integrity, doing what is right even when nobody is looking
    • Always having a positive attitude
    • Willingness to be silly (even at the expense of embarrassing yourself)
    • Lots of patience
    • Experience working with toddlers or young children (coaching, teaching, babysitting, etc.)
    • Friendly, outgoing, and energetic personality
    • Knowledge of soccer fundamentals is a plus but not required
    • Ability to lead groups and engage both parents and children
    • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
    • Background check required
