Job Title: Think Zone Math Tutor

Job Type: Part-time Opportunity (6-12 hours per week); additional hours may be available

We are seeking patient, reliable tutors who are passionate about helping K-8 students build confidence and skills in math. The ideal candidate can explain concepts clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and create a supportive environment where students can thrive. What You Will Do

  • Provide personalized, one-on-one math instruction to K-8 students based on their individual learning needs and goals
  • Assess student understanding and adapt your teaching approach to support different learning styles and paces
  • Use curriculum resources and tools provided by Think Zone to deliver engaging and effective lessons
  • Foster a supportive and encouraging environment that builds student confidence and a positive attitude toward mathematics
  • Help students develop foundational math skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Track student progress and provide regular feedback to support growth and celebrate achievements
  • Maintain professional and positive communication with parents and students, building strong relationships and addressing student progress

Qualifications

  • Strong math proficiency, with at least a high school diploma or equivalent; higher education or a background in education is a plus
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to explain math concepts in an easy-to-understand way
  • Patience and empathy when working with students of varying ages, abilities, and confidence levels
  • Ability to personalize instruction based on individual student needs, learning styles, and progress
  • Strong organizational skills to track student performance and manage multiple learning plans

Schedule

We are seeking reliable individuals available to work 2-4 hours per day, three times per week, with a strong preference for weekend availability.

Pay Range: $18.50-$20.00/hour
