Job Title: AWS GenAI Lead Security & Governance

Level: Specialist Program & Project Management

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Security, Risk & Compliance (SRC) Staff Consultant to support Phase 4 of an AWS Launchpad engagement focused on industrializing Amazon Bedrock and AWS AgentCore.

The consultant will lead security, governance, risk, and compliance activities to enable the secure, compliant, and scalable adoption of AWS Generative AI solutions across enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AWS cloud security, security risk and compliance, GenAI governance, IAM, data protection, security assessments, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Security, Risk & Compliance Leadership

Lead Security, Risk & Compliance (SRC) workstreams for Amazon Bedrock and AWS AgentCore adoption.

Establish and manage security and compliance activities throughout the GenAI implementation lifecycle.

Identify, assess, track, and mitigate security, privacy, operational, and compliance risks.

Maintain risk registers, mitigation plans, governance processes, and compliance tracking.

Ensure GenAI implementations align with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.

GenAI Governance

Define governance frameworks for enterprise GenAI solutions.

Establish security controls and compliance requirements for Bedrock and AgentCore workloads.

Define governance standards for AI/GenAI adoption, deployment, and operations.

Support secure implementation of AI workloads while maintaining appropriate controls around data, access, and model usage.

Contribute to responsible AI and model governance initiatives.

Security Assessments & Risk Management

Conduct security assessments and risk assessments for AWS GenAI workloads.

Review cloud architectures, security controls, IAM configurations, data protection mechanisms, and monitoring capabilities.

Identify security gaps and recommend remediation actions.

Support implementation and validation of security controls for AI/GenAI workloads.

Monitor remediation activities and ensure identified risks are appropriately addressed.

Compliance & Audit Readiness

Ensure AWS GenAI solutions align with enterprise compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Support audit readiness and regulatory compliance activities.

Establish compliance checkpoints and governance processes.

Prepare security and compliance documentation for project milestones and production readiness.

Provide evidence and support for internal and external audits.

Stakeholder & Program Collaboration

Collaborate with AWS, customer, security, architecture, engineering, and delivery teams.

Act as an SRC advisor for GenAI transformation initiatives.

Communicate security risks, compliance gaps, and remediation recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.

Support program leadership in tracking security and compliance milestones.

Drive cross-functional resol ution of security and governance issues.
