Position: Lead Salesforce Developer

Location: Cambridge, MA

Length: 10+ Months

Client Job Description:

PLAN MANAGE
Ensure detailed design alignment with the high level design / logical design from Enterprise Architect
Provide project-specific technical resource and activity management, bridging the gap between vendors and the client
Develop infrastructure requirements to facilitate hw/sw environment build outs
Develop data migration plan for a project that clearly defines data migration strategy
Contribute to hyper care planning with project team and support resources to ensure a well-defined and appropriately resourced hyper care period post go-live

BUILD DEPLOY
Develop and execute software IQs that ensure proper installation as specified by the clients and vendor requirements
Develop/provide oversight for code/configuration and unit testing to ensure proper operation
Develop data migration report that documents the results of data migration test runs
Develop service transition plan and work with appropriate support team resources to ensure a smooth shift to Run
Reference and complete all necessary activities associated with the Run checklist so that the support team has all the material they need to effectively support the system post go-live
Develop/manage a cutover plan that ensures a smooth transition from legacy system to new
Overall 10-15 years of relevant experience
Application Design, Architecture and Development experience in Biotech/Pharma industry
IT Development/Technical management experience
Experience working with outsourced service providers a plus
Experience working with offshore delivery teams a plus
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems, or associated field required
Other Pertinent Skills and Experience
Excellent written and communication skills
