Our expertise in customer journey mapping, innovation and service design leads to the invention of new security solutions that create value for our clients and exceptional experiences for end users.  ALCEA/Critical Infrastructure within ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions is launching its ALWIN platform in the USA. We are looking for a Presales Engineer, ALWIN to lead customer and integrator-facing technical presentations and demonstrations, and to support our Vertical Market Managers throughout the ALWIN sales cycle. This role reports directly to Jeff Slaughter Head of business development. Some business travel is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical product demonstrations and presentations of ALWIN to end users, system integrators, and consultants
  • Partner with Vertical Market Managers to support opportunities from qualification through close
  • Translate customer and integrator technical requirements into ALWIN solution designs and proposals
  • Support RFP/RFI responses with technical scoping, specifications, and solution narratives
  • Build and maintain demo environments, proof-of-concept configurations, and standard presentation materials for ALWIN
  • Serve as the technical point of contact during evaluations, pilots, and integrator onboarding
  • Provide competitive positioning and technical objection-handling support to the sales team
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay field feedback and market requirements
  • Train VMMs, integrators, and channel partners on ALWIN capabilities and best practices

Skills Requirements and Performance Criteria:

  • Experience in presales, sales engineering, or technical solution consulting, ideally within PSIM, access control, or related security technology
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills; comfortable presenting to both technical and executive audiences
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value for critical infrastructure customers
  • Working knowledge of security/PSIM platforms, IP networking fundamentals, and system integration concepts
  • Experience supporting system integrators and channel partners
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent opportunities
  • Willingness to travel domestically, and potentially internationally, to support customer meetings and integrator training
  • Competent with MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); CRM experience (Salesforce / Microsoft) is a plus
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; any other language is an asset
