Starving Artist Cafe, located in Norfolk, VA, is searching for a talented and dedicated Line/Prep Cook to join our team. If you have a love for fresh ingredients, a knack for organization, and at least one year of kitchen experience, we’d love to hear from you!

Our cozy cafe is a space where creativity meets culinary excellence, and every dish is crafted with care. We pride ourselves on fostering a team-oriented atmosphere where everyone contributes to making each guest’s experience memorable.
What You’ll DoAs a Line/Prep Cook, you’ll play an essential role in our kitchen operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing ingredients and assembling dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Ensuring food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including proper food storage and sanitation practices.
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to keep service running smoothly.
- Assisting with inventory management and restocking as needed.
We’re seeking someone who:
- Has at least 1 year of experience working in a kitchen or culinary setting.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can multitask effectively.
- Is detail-oriented with a strong commitment to food safety and quality.
- Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively.
- Brings a positive attitude and a passion for food to every shift.
