Lead IOS Engineer

Client is growing their engineering team and seeking a leader to set the tone for a rapidly growing E-learning platform used by the nation’s top  teams in pro/college sports and even the most elite military groups.  What do elite pro sports teams and military groups have in common?  They both value teaching & that learning information at a premium, and player’s/soldier’s ability to ingest material is mission critical.  We are looking for an engineer who gets excited about tackling those problems head on, and spearhead our development of our app & and desktop interface. 

You will be getting on very early stage, and will have the chance to put your stamp on the future architecture of the system, and may influence a game you are watching on TV or maybe even save a life.  How many engineers and developers can say that?.

This is truly a chance to get in on ground floor, and build a revolutionary app, that gives people the ability to learn anything, and coaches & mentors insights into what their teams are learning, and who needs help.  .

Qualifications:

·       BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • Expertise with Objective-C or Swift, CocoaTouch, and Xcode and modern front end tools like react
  • Solid backend development experience in PHP - Ideally Laravel but similar MVC frameworks (e.g. Symfony) are ok too.
  • Experience shipping five-star apps to the App Store
  • Superior analytical skills and a strong sense of urgency and ownership in your work
  • Proven ability to build, launch and iterate on apps under pressure
  • Experience developing cloud products in Amazon AWS or similar environments
  • Experience with modern front end tools like React.
  • Solid HTML, CSS, JavaScript would work too.
