Job description

Description
Upper West Exteriors | Greater Seattle Area
Full-Time | Hourly + Pay-for-Performance
Upper West Exteriors is bringing gutter production in-house, and we're looking for an experienced gutter professional to help us build the division from the ground up.
This is a unique hybrid field role. When gutters are scheduled, you'll lead gutter production using our dedicated 5"/6" seamless gutter machine and enclosed trailer. When you're not producing gutters, you'll work as a Field Production Supervisor, supporting our roofing operations, performing QC inspections, handling jobsite logistics, and completing minor roof repairs.
You'll have consistent full-time work while helping us grow a new division-and the opportunity to grow into Gutter Division and Field Operations leadership as we expand.
What You'll Do
Gutter Production
  • Operate our 5"/6" seamless gutter machine
  • Measure, fabricate, and install complete gutter and downspout systems
  • Manage the gutter trailer, tools, materials, and inventory
  • Maintain high standards for quality, efficiency, and jobsite cleanliness
  • Help develop our gutter installation processes and standards
  • Train and lead helpers as the division grows

Field Production
  • Perform QC inspections on active roofing projects
  • Support crews with jobsite setup, materials, Catch-All systems, and dump trailers
  • Coordinate field needs with our operations team
  • Perform minor roofing repairs and service work
  • Troubleshoot and solve field issues

What We're Looking For
  • Professional seamless gutter installation experience
  • Experience operating a gutter roll-forming machine
  • Knowledge of 5" and 6" K-style gutters
  • Roofing and roof-repair experience preferred
  • Comfortable towing trailers, working from ladders, and working on roofs
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Strong workmanship, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Someone who wants to take ownership and grow into leadership

Compensation & Growth
This is an hourly position plus Pay-for-Performance. When you're producing gutters, you'll have the opportunity to earn additional compensation based on production, efficiency, and quality.
We're building this division now, which means the person we hire has an opportunity to help shape how it operates and grow with it:
Lead Gutter Technician → Gutter Division Lead → Gutter Division Manager / Field Operations Leadership
About Upper West Exteriors
We're a growing Seattle-area roofing and exterior contractor built around our PEAKS values: Professionalism, Ethics, Accountability, Kindness, and Service.
If you're an experienced gutter professional looking for more than another installer job-more variety, ownership, earning potential, and opportunity to grow-we'd like to talk.
