Job description

The HVAC Lead Installer plays a critical role in managing and executing the installation of residential and commercial HVAC systems. Leading a small team of 1-3 installers, this position ensures quality workmanship, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction while coordinating all phases of HVAC system installation and testing. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage HVAC installation projects from start to finish
  • Coordinate and lead a small installation team
  • Test HVAC systems to ensure proper operation and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards on job sites
  • Interact professionally with customers to address concerns and provide updates
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Manage materials and resources to support installation activities
  • Adhere to regional travel requirements for site visits

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC installation
  • Technical certification in HVAC or related field
  • EPA Section 608 Certification
  • Proficient in HVAC system installation, including residential and commercial units
  • Skilled in blueprint reading and electrical systems knowledge
  • Skilled in the fabrication and installation of sheet metal duct work
  • Strong understanding of safety standards compliance
  • Effective problem-solving and team leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Customer service oriented
