Job description

Location:

127 Public Square, Cleveland Ohio

This position will provide forecasting and reporting support to executive leadership to help make informed decisions. The individual will report to the FP&A Finance Manager and will be responsible for designing, developing and producing financial reporting and analysis to serve our business clients and assist in cross functional activities. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Providing accurate and insightful financial reporting.
  • Performing financial analysisto identify areas for financial performance improvement. Effectively communicate results, insights, and recommendations to the Finance leadership team.
  • Conducting ad-hoc financial performance analysis to assist in understanding forecast results and trends.

Essential Job Functions

  • Complete and communicate monthly/quarterly/annual analysis of financial results and performance to targets.
  • Provide information related to business initiatives & drivers of favorable and unfavorable performance.
  • Provide proactive ideas, advice, and financial modeling.
  • Provide guidance and act as liaison between FP&A and selected partners, relative to financial performance. Partners include, but are not limited to, accounting, human resources, marketing, technology, treasury, and other line of business segments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree (Finance, Accounting or related field)
  • 2+ years of analytical experience in Finance, Business or related field
  • Organized self-starter with the ability to think and work independently and creatively
  • Strong financial and/or accounting acumen
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish solid working relationships with multiple teams and individuals with varying levels of expertise
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in project management/proven ability to lead cross functional team projects
  • Proven team player, willing to assist others as needed to ensure that group deadlines are met and quality standards achieved
  • Ability to manage time and multiple tasks effectively
  • Detail oriented with the ability to thoroughly analyze and resolve issues with limited direction

Preferred Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint)

Experience working with financial system reporting environments (i.e., Adaptive, Office Connect, Balance Sheet Planning etc.)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $63,000.00 - $96,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
