As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our ERP and CRM systems, ensuring they meet our business needs and support our operations effectively. Main Responsibilities

Programming and Customization:

  • Write custom code and develop software solutions using native tools within the Epicor ERP / Salesforce CRM applications, and related systems as necessary.
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom features within the ERP/CRM system to meet business requirements.

ERP System Administration:

  • Administer and maintain the overall health of the ERP/CRM systems.
  • Implement and manage user access, security, and permissions within the ERP/CRM environment.

Optimization and Performance Tuning:

  • Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and responsiveness of the ERP/CRM system.
  • Participate in system and software launches or upgrades when business systems are not being used for production or sales support.

Collaboration and Integration:

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate ERP/CRM solutions with other business systems.
  • Communicate any challenges directly to the Chief Information Officer.

Database Design and Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient database structures to support the company's manufacturing and business processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Implement and enforce data security measures to protect sensitive information.

Troubleshooting and Support:

  • Provide technical support for ERP/CRM‑related issues and incidents.
  • Investigate and resolve system errors, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
  • Lead ERP/CRM‑related projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful implementation and adherence to project timelines.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ERP/CRM configurations, customizations, and integrations.
  • Develop and update data dictionaries and schema diagrams.
  • Develop user guides and training materials for ERP/CRM system users.
Secondary Responsibilities

CRM Administration:

  • Assist in managing user access, security, and permissions within the CRM environment.

CRM Programming and Customization:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining custom features within the CRM system to meet business requirements.

Integration Support:

  • Assist in supporting and maintaining integrations between the ERP and CRM systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Programmer.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Proficiency in working with modern relational databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL.
  • Familiarity with modern front end development frameworks, such as Angular, React, Vue.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Aptitude to write custom code and solve business‑specific challenges.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Must be able to work individually as well as in a small team environment.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to complete all projects/tasks within the established timelines.
Work Location

This in‑person position will work out of the Victor, NY facility.

Salary Range

$100,000 - $125,000
