Title: Lead Dot Net developer

Location: Metro Atlanta GA Day 1 Onsite (Only Locals)

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Visa: H1B/USC/H4-EAD/L2/E3

Experience of the Right Candidate:

  • 7-9 years of experience as a hands-on Software Developer, with a proven track record in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Extensive, in-depth expertise in .NET Core and C#.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database design.
  • Hands-on experience with both AWS and Azure cloud services (e.g., Azure Data Warehouse, etc.)
  • Strong familiarity with CI/CD practices and Docker containerization.
  • Proven ability to write robust unit tests and knowledge of code quality/security tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience communicating complex technical issues to business stakeholders and external partners (consulting experience is a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to be a proactive leader, take ownership, and drive technical solutions without continuous direct management.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or React, and proficiency with TypeScript.


 

Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:

  • Drive the design, coding, and deployment of applications, with a heavy 75% focus on backend development for both new features and modernization of existing cloud-based applications.
  • Serve as a technical leader, offering architectural direction and expertise to the team without direct people management responsibilities.
  • Take full ownership of projects and technical solutions, demonstrating a strong sense of initiative rather than waiting to be assigned tasks.
  • Be hands-on with development using .NET Core (for all new development/modernization), C#, and SQL.
  •  Implement and manage solutions leveraging experience with a mix of AWS and Azure
  • Write comprehensive unit tests to test functionalities before shipping to production.
  • Utilize and contribute to (CI/CD) practices, including working with Docker containers.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance on development best practices to junior developers on the team.
  •  Utilize proficiency with GitHub Copilot to enhance development efficiency.
