Lead Data & Analytics Engineer
As Lead Data and Analytics Engineer at Secturasoft, you will work with the engineers, product owners, and the business to develop data pipelines, data warehouse, and infrastructure to handle transactional ecommerce products data for effective data analytics for internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for you to lay a strong foundation for our database systems from data point of view and help build data infrastructure to facilitate advanced analytics to support the rapid product and business growth.
Primary job responsibilities:
  • Work with software development and infrastructure teams to implement and maintain analytics data infrastructure in the cloud ensuring data is secure in transit and at rest
  • Evaluate and implement appropriate PaaS or SaaS technologies in the cloud to meet the current and future needs of internal and external stakeholders of our software and ecommerce products
  • Evaluate and implement data pipelines to capture data and ETL/ELT to cloud storage infrastructure
  • Be a technical data consultant to software development team in the design and development of complex database systems to support current and future business analytics needs
  • Be on the look out to catch data integrity issues in the design, implementation, and storage of databases
  • Develop data models and business analytics using analytics tools such as PowerBI including ad-hoc SQL querying to meet the needs of internal stakeholders. This team will grow to include exclusive business anal
  • Develop technical documentation, data integrity testing infrastructure and support mechanism

Required Skills:
  • Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT tools in the cloud for the cloud based multi-tenant complex software applications
  • Familiarity with the Azure data platform including data lakes storage, Azure data factory and Synapse
  • Familiarity with extracting data from software applications using common API structures such as REST
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft BI stack (SSAS, SQL server, SSDT, PowerBI, etc)
  • Proficiency creating tables, views, and stored procedures using T-SQL and PL/SQL including expertise in understanding query performance
  • Experience designing and maintaining Datawarehouse in Azure or other next gen products like Snowflake
  • Experience with data analytics, visualization and reporting
  • Understanding of Python for data engineering
  • Powershell experience
  • Communicate effectively with the technical, business, and other stakeholders to deliver and meet their data and analytics needs.

Education:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience
