INflow Federal is seeking a Virtual Desktop Engineer to support the design, configuration, and maintenance of a large, globally accessed virtual desktop environment. This role will be the SME in troubleshooting all related performance issue across the organization. Additionally, the position will require an individual experienced in system design and integration, identity life-cycle management, and process automation and improvement.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design VDI Solutions: Support the design and engineering of secure, scalable, and high-performance virtual desktop environments.
  • Tier 3/4 VDI Support: Act as the escalation point for complex VDI issues, offering expert-level support and guidance to system administrators.
  • Performance Optimization: Diagnose and resolve performance issues, ensuring optimal desktop delivery across platforms.
  • Endpoint & Interoperability Support: Guide endpoint configuration and troubleshoot desktop virtualization challenges.
  • Platform Integration: Act as a technical liaison across multiple VDI technologies and stakeholders.
  • Automation & Lifecycle Management: Implement and improve identity lifecycle management and process automation initiatives.
  • Enterprise-Scale Operations: Operate in diverse, large-scale production environments with a focus on operational excellence.

Required Skills:
  • Experience providing engineering support for legacy and current versions of Citrix products.
  • 5+ years of experience with BS degree or a combination of years of experience and education
  • Progressive roles from Administrator to Sr. Engineer
  • Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops v7.15 and later
  • Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS)
  • Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)
  • Citrix Netscaler / ADC / VPX
  • Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM)
  • Citrix App Layering
  • Liquidware Profile Unity
  • Hyper V, VMWare VDI (Microsoft or Citrix NetScalers / ADCs)
  • Familiar with HP AnyConnect and Leostream

Desired Experience
  • Experience with Windows Server clustering and advanced Active Directory management.
  • Hands-on with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with System Center Virtual Machine Manager or VMware vCenter 6.7.
  • Expertise in Group Policy, home directory, and profile management.
  • Proficient in desktop software provisioning and enterprise desktop support services.
