IDEALFORCE has a CONTRACT position available immediately for Implementation Specialist  to join our customer in Phoenix Arizona. This is an ONSITE position. Job Description

- Establish and / or update workflow processes for implementation activities for internal and external stakeholders, for online technologies including ADE's Learning Management System (Blackboard LMS), Event Management System (EMS), and Content Management System (CMS)

- Coordinate and/or manage implementation activities as assigned, such as:


Internal

* Provide product training for ADE staff and assist them in implementation

* Manage internal ADE users (license setups, permissions, monthly counts, etc.)

* Provide Tier 2 support for ADE and vendor products

* Act as the vendor contact for Tier 3 support

* Manage version updates of products


External

* Perform product demos for LEAs

* Schedule / Conduct kick-off meeting with LEA (Local Education Agency)

* Conduct setup activities or questionnaire for LEA - specifically perform system administrator activities

* Responsible for all phase sign offs

* Provide product training

* Conduct post go-live hyper-care

* Transition LEA to ADE Support team

* Manage ADE Community of Practice groups for LMS, EMS, and CMS.

* Evangelize use of online learning tools within ADE to support agency goals

* Assist in development and tracking of product requirements and backlog

* Act as Implementation team contact to Development for documenting and reviewing bug fixes and product enhancements

* Under the direction of the implementation manager, provide input to IT Communications team on collateral, communication, websites, etc

* Attend product specific meetings with vendors and internal personnel to guide product demos, upgrade/release management decisions, collateral, etc

* Gather information from LEA leads (prospective customers) and consult with Outreach account managers as needed

* Conduct and / or coordinate product demonstrations and webinars as needed

* Update LEA prospecting and implementation information in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system as needed

* Create and implement ADE's plan for internal and external training on LMS, EMS, and CMS

* Build effective working relationships with other ADE divisions to complement outreach programs of various departments

Qualifications

B.A. or B.S., Masters in Education or Instructional Technology preferred

2+ years' experience managing a Learning Management System, preferably Blackboard Learn

5+ years' experience in preparing and delivering online courses

Experience in migrating courses between LMS systems

Experience with PC and Mac applications

Experience in training LMS users through on-line and face-to-face settings

Experience developing training materials and job aides

Experience integrating LMS with other data systems (SIS, gradebook, etc.) preferred

Skill in using and configuring online presentation tools, especially Blackboard Collaborate

Knowledge of, and experience with, web development and programming applications including, but not limited to, the following: Extensible Markup Language (XML), HyperText Markup Language (HTML), Extensible HyperText Markup Language (XHTML), Java, and JavaScript

Basic knowledge of SQL preferred

Knowledge of, and the ability to, function with various state, region, county, district, and school organizational structure
