Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Turnover Coordinator with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry.

The position will be located in Quebec.

The responsibilities of Turnover Coordinators will depend on the size and scope of the project. The Turnover Coordinator serves on behalf of the Company; 

  • Gathers and reviews turnover documentation provided by the commissioning and construction teams. Also manages turnover to Operations
  • Liaise between the on-site Commissioning Lead team, construction Turnover Coordinator, vendor representatives, and Company technical representatives to resolve technical issues in a manner that minimizes impact to the baseline construction schedule
  • This position requires the individual to be experienced working on routine and non-routine  project complexity. It also requires the individual to be able to make independent, moderate-risk decisions before consulting a mentor or the Project Lead.

  • All safety procedures must be followed as per the commissioning procedure

  • Familiarity with current industry quality standards and practice
  • Support and  facilitate  a  highly  effective,  collaborative  environment  with  seamless, open communication with the team

Budget

  • Liaise between the on-site Commissioning Lead team, construction Turnover Coordinator, vendor representatives, and Company technical representatives to resolve technical issues in a manner that minimizes the impact to construction baseline budget

Scheduling

  • Liaise between the on-site Commissioning Lead team, construction Turnover Coordinator, vendor representatives, and Company technical representatives to resolve technical issues in a manner that minimizes the impact to construction baseline schedule

Commissioning Practices

  • Turnover Coordinator to attend regular punch list review meetings with area construction group(s) and to monitor the construction punch lis
  • Minimal site visits will be needed as this is done electronically to review commissioning turnover documen
  • Turnover Coordinator shall receive all daily reports for comparison to records received to report completion percen This report will be given to the Commissioning Lead.
  • Turnover Coordinator is responsible for providing copies of all updated documents/drawings/software to the commissioning teams as soon as they receive an e- notification of revised documents/drawings/sof

Documents

  • Responsible for the creation and management of all turnover documents from Commissioning to Clients as per the systems completion and turnover procedure
  • When reviewing commissioning turnover documents, focus especially on "redlines" and make sure these are being compiled as commissioning processes
  • Turnover Coordinator shall receive and insert in turnover system daily completed records from each discipline lea He/she shall report to the Commissioning Lead. The exception to this would be the PLC test procedures that are conducted over several days
  • Turnover Coordinator is responsible for providing copies of all updated documents / drawings / software to the commissioning teams
Skills / Qualifications

Qualifications for a Turnover Coordinator are the following:

  • Broad understanding of the business setting and a mature knowledge of planning and executing commissioning proj
  • Relevant experience in the industry managing QA/QC/Turnover activiti
  • Relevant experience   in   the   industry   with   auditing   of   quality  management   system   of construction/commissioning companies
  • Levels 1 to 3

 Turnover Coordinators must:

  • Demonstrate leadership in a team-based environmen
  • Be familiar with current industry quality standards and practice

Additionally, Turnover Coordinators must have knowledge of:

  • Company's PDS procedures (PTR, FCD, and RFI system and process).
  • Verifying functions relating to field activities.
  • Prints and redlining.
  • Computer database systems (i.e. InfoWorks, Microsoft  Excel, and Word) experience
