Job Type: Full-Time / Contract Position

Work Schedule

Services will generally be performed Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The schedule will include group therapy sessions, individual counseling, case consultations, and documentation. Personnel must arrive or log in at least 15 minutes before each scheduled session.

Place of Performance

Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA) facilities in Washington, D.C., including:

  • 633 Indiana Avenue NW
  • 2101 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE
  • 1900 Massachusetts Avenue SE
  • 501 3rd Street NW (future location)
  • 910 Rhode Island Avenue

Services may also be provided remotely through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform when authorized.

Period of Performance

The initial period of performance is 12 months from the date of award, followed by four 12-month option periods. The contract may also be extended for up to six additional months.

Summary

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) will provide evidence-based counseling services to adults under community supervision. Responsibilities include facilitating group counseling sessions, providing individual counseling, developing treatment plans, maintaining clinical documentation, and supporting participants in achieving positive behavioral change and successful community reintegration.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited program
  • Current, unrestricted LCSW or LPC license
  • At least three years of recent licensed clinical experience
  • At least three years of recent experience working with adults in forensic settings and preparing clinical reports
  • Experience with justice-involved or court-supervised adults preferred
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to complete required background checks and security screening
  • Strong communication, documentation, and computer skills

  • Facilitate group counseling sessions and provide individual counseling
  • Develop treatment plans using evidence-based counseling techniques
  • Document counseling sessions, attendance, and participant progress
  • Prepare progress reports and discharge summaries
  • Participate in case consultations and multidisciplinary meetings
  • Respond appropriately to participant behavioral or mental health concerns
  • Maintain confidential treatment records and client information
  • Coordinate with supervision officers and behavioral-health personnel
  • Maintain required licenses, certifications, and professional standards
