Work Environment

This role is structured to offer flexible remote work that allows you to balance your personal and professional commitments effectively. As an outpatient counselor, you will interact with clients through scheduled appointments, which ensures that both you and your clients can work together at optimal times for success. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations of clients to develop tailored treatment plans that address their specific mental health needs.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring each approach is customized to fit the clientโ€™s circumstances.
  • Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, ensuring a responsive therapeutic process.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprised of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to coordinate holistic care and address client needs from multiple angles.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records and documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing EMR systems effectively.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and staying updated on the latest advancements in mental health.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves a diverse range of clients seeking support through various life challenges, including trauma, relationship issues, and mental health concerns such as anxiety and depression. As a counselor, you will assist clients in overcoming their struggles, helping them find effective coping mechanisms and fostering resilience.

Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Nevada.
  • A minimum of two years of experience delivering counseling services, preferably in a clinical environment.
  • Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations that govern counseling practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience
