$800.00 sign-on bonus + generous shift differentials (evenings)

Evenings 3pm-11:30pm or Overnights 11pm-7:30am

As a Forensic Mental Health Technician (MHT), you'll be an integral part of our Restoration team, providing continuous care, supervision, and positive role modeling to patients across various age groups. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you'll contribute to creating a therapeutic environment that fosters patient support and well-being.

  • Accurately record vital signs
  • Exercise judgment in patient interactions and report changes to the RN
  • Follow therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team and provide information for development and revision
  • Employ crisis-intervention techniques, conduct MHT-led groups, and use facility-approved CPI techniques
  • Assist patients through discharge, guide in adjusting to life changes, and help with personal hygiene
  • Comply with policies for a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment, practicing universal precautions and responding to patient care priorities.  

Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:

  • Education & Education:  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, or Certified Nursing Assistant; Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, recreational therapy, or appropriate therapeutic discipline preferred.  
  • Experience: One year of related experience, with a knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and an understanding of mental illness, is preferred.
  • Additional Skill Requirements:  May be required to work overtime and flexible hours

Compensation:
