Job description

Forklift Driver

Location: USA - Inwood, 396 Development Drive

Division: Solutions

Time Type: Full Time

Compensation: $21.75/hr + $2/hr shift differential Weekend Premium (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) extra $1.50/hr

Schedule: These are 12 hours shifts on a 2-2-3 type schedule Day Shift: 7:00am - 7:00pm Night Shift: 7:00pm - 7:00am

Job Overview

Responsible for pulling orders, prepping for outbound shipment, loading and unloading freight accurately, inspection and other warehouse related duties.

Ensure all products are accurately pulled and over-packed correctly to customer expectations.

What Will You Enjoy Doing (Duties/Tasks)
  • Safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment (MHE) including sit down, reach truck, cherry picker, layer pick, etc. Along with daily forklift inspection sheet completed prior to operation of forklift
  • Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers. Sort outbound freight based on carrier lane assignments
  • Accurately pull orders based on location, part number, batch and quantity. Placard, weigh, and record dimensions on appropriate paperwork. Over-box pallets, wrap pallets and strap pallets in preparation for shipment
  • Perform cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness of dock. Along with keeping shipping supplies organized and communicate on supply needs
  • Complete other duties or tasks as assigned

For this position, the expected base pay range is $21.75 – $21.75 Hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
