Job description

ATTENTION NURSING ASSISTANTS: We are hiring for all shifts: FT, PT, or Per-Diem with either 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, flexible schedules available.

Position Summary: Nursing Assistant Med/Surg H2. 24 Hours per week, Nights 7pm to 7am. Lawrence campus

Is your HEART IN HEALTHCARE? Join our team of Nursing Assistant s and help our patients with daily activities as needed. Nursing Assistant responsibilities include providing basic services to patients throughout the day who have difficulties with mobility or cognitive skills. Performs duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse to support our patients and provide direct patient care.

Duties include, but are not limited to :

  • A variety of Clinical Measures, including monitoring vital signs and oxygen levels

  • Bathing, observation and meals

  • ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)

  • Answering call buttons

  • Ensures patient care is delivered by age-specific category requirements and established policy and procedure for all patient populations

  • Responds promptly and compassionately to patient needs and requests. Must have a can-do attitude, with a strong focus on teamwork, and possess excellent customer service skills

Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent or five years of experience in lieu of degree with Basic Life Support certification. Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant preferred. Bilingual (Spanish-English) is helpful but not required. An every-other-weekend schedule commitment is required.

Per-diem roles are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.
