Position Overview

Our Customer Service Warehouse Associates are knowledgeable, energetic and consistently deliver the best overall customer experience. To succeed in this role, you need to be passionate and customer obsessed while serving commercial and residential consumers in the green industry.

What you’ll do:

  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service to all Reinders/SiteOne customers
  • Cultivate and manage strong relationships with customers
  • Assist customers with their questions and needs, either in person, via the phone or through online ordering
  • Develop and communicate customer quotes
  • Assist Reinders/SiteOne sales and service teams
  • Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick up or delivery
  • Partner with store leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to help positively impact business performance.
  • Load and unload orders, assist with merchandising product, managing inventory, and maintain warehouse while maintaining a safe working environment
  • Operate a forklift to load and unload vehicles
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills We Are Seeking
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a retail or wholesale setting, preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Green industry experience or knowledge of landscape, nursery, or irrigation product a plus
  • Ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working
  • Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions
  • Inventory management experience helpful
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • Requires the ability to pass forklift operator course and drive a forklift
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in both a store setting, warehouse environment, and occasional outdoor work. The noise level is usually moderate.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near equipment such as pallet jacks, delivery trucks, and lawn/turf equipment.
