Lawn Maintenance Labourer Jobs (NOW HIRING)

 Job Summary:  

As a Lawn Maintenance Manager, you oversee all our lawn maintenance  operations. You will manage multiple crews, ensure efficient job completion, maintain high-quality standards, and drive customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong knowledge of landscaping principles, leadership skills, and project management. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Oversee multiple crews of lawn maintenance  technicians performing various lawn maintenance  tasks. 
• Develop and implement efficient work schedules and prioritize tasks based on deadlines and weather conditions. 
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper use of equipment to maintain a safe work environment. 
• Conduct regular quality inspections and address any customer concerns promptly. 
• Oversee inventory management and assist in ordering supplies. 
• Prepare and maintain accurate job cost and labor reports using MS Suite programs. 
• Generate reports to analyze crew performance, identify areas for improvement, and track project progress. 
• Maintain a professional relationship with clients, addressing their questions and concerns promptly. 
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and implement new techniques to enhance service quality. 
• Participate in the development and implementation of new lawn services.

Requirements

Experience and Skills required: 

• Minimum of five years of experience in lawn maintenance or a related field. 
• Proven knowledge of landscaping principles, including plants, sod, and landscape design. 
• Strong understanding of lawn maintenance practices, including mowing, edging, trimming, fertilization, and weed control. 
• Spanish language proficiency required. Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to train, coach, and support employees and communicate with customers as part of the essential functions of the position. 
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and train crew members. 
• Proficient in MS Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for creating reports, schedules, and presentations. 
• Experience pulling and analyzing job cost and labor reports. 
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently. 
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. 
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Primarily works outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, humidity, and sun exposure.  
• Performs the essential functions of the position in an outdoor environment with frequent exposure to varying terrain and environmental conditions.  
• Frequently stands, walks, reaches, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, and crouches.  
• Occasionally sits, lifts, pushes, pulls, shovels, and carries materials or equipment weighing up to 60 pounds.  
• Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. 

Driver's Responsibilities: 

• Operates a company vehicle safely and efficiently in accordance with ABC vehicle policy standards while conducting quality assurance inspections, training employees, visiting customers, and performing other job-related duties as needed.  
• Assumes responsibility for routine vehicle maintenance , including monitoring tire condition, brake performance, and timely oil changes.  
• Maintains compliance with all safety requirements and applicable driving regulations and promptly reports work-related injuries to the appropriate supervisor.  
• Complies with company vehicle usage policies and maintains an acceptable driving record.  
• Reports all vehicle accidents and incidents to the Lawn Director as soon as practicable, but no later than one hour following the occurrence.  
• Maintains a valid Texas driver's license and provides updated documentation to Human Resources upon request. 

Compensation:

$65,000 - $75,000 annually
